Rising 7th Grade Information
If your child is in 6th grade, please read for further information on the transition to middle school. Currently, there are dates for virtual visits and virtual curriculum nights for the middle schools in which Mosby Woods feeds. Eventually, there will be links to more information as it is received - check back often.

Library Book Checkouts
Read all about it!!! Students may put books on hold for checkout. Learn how to put books on hold, when and where to pick them up, and how to return them. Read for the new times for Thursdays beginning 2/25/2021.

Important Update on meal distribution time change
As of Monday, February 22, 2021, all FCPS Grab and Go locations and Meal Kit sites are permanently changing the hours of operation to 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Return to School
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is partnering with families to ensure we keep students and staff safe and healthy as we return to school buildings for learning. Working together, we will follow recommended health guidance that focuses on student health, safety, and emotional well-being.
Kindergarten and Grade 1 Dual Language Immersion Lottery Registration is Open
Online registration for the lottery is open. Parents may register their child for the 2021-2022 school year using their FCPS SIS account credentials. Registration for Grade 1 will be open until February 18 at 4 p.m. Registration for Kindergarten will be open until March 11 at 4 p.m.
In-School Instruction – Form Needed
Parents/guardians who chose in-school instruction for their child will receive a health screening commitment form where you will agree to completing a daily health screening prior to sending your student to school. Forms must be received at school electronically or by hard copy before your child returns to in-school instruction. Students whose parent/guardian have not returned a signed form will be required to complete a health screening and have their temperature taken daily by school staff until the form is received.
