Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! This page contains the forms you’ll need to start off the year. Parents are also welcome to drop forms off paper forms in the labeled box outside the school doors or scan and send in an email to MosbyWoodsForms@fcps.edu. Reminder: Referral Window for Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) Level IV Screening Consideration Ends December 1
Tuesday, December 1 is the close of the window (Sept 8-Dec 1) for parents to submit a referral form for their student to be screened for full-time Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) Level IV. The parent referral form, submitted to the school, is one pathway to have a student screened for AAP Level IV. Parents should not wait for an announcement of the second grade screening pool if they want to make sure their student is screened for AAP Level IV in the coming cycle. Parents of students in grades 2-7 will need to submit the referral form by December 1.
Superintendent Presents Proposed New Names for Mosby Woods Elementary School
FCPS Superintendent Scott S. Brabrand presented five possible new names to the Fairfax County School Board for Mosby Woods Elementary School at its business meeting on October 22.
In-School Instruction – Form Needed
Parents/guardians who chose in-school instruction for their child will receive a health screening commitment form where you will agree to completing a daily health screening prior to sending your student to school. Forms must be received at school electronically or by hard copy before your child returns to in-school instruction. Students whose parent/guardian have not returned a signed form will be required to complete a health screening and have their temperature taken daily by school staff until the form is received.
Library Book Checkouts
Read all about it!!! Students may put books on hold for checkout. Learn how to put books on hold, when and where to pick them up, and how to return them. Read for the new times for Thursdays beginning 11/19.
No-Cost Meals for All FCPS Students through June 30, 2021
Grab and Go service hours are 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Bus routes for food distribution are operating Monday through Friday. Breakfast and lunch will be available at no-cost Monday-Friday at all schools with in-person instruction. Specific information about meal distribution locations and bus distribution schedules are available.
